Information we collect
SubFree Family Planner does not require account registration and does not collect personal data for account creation.
Data you enter in the app may include:
- Family member names and avatars
- Chores, rewards, points, and activity history
- Calendar events
- Meals, recipes, grocery items
- Photo frame settings and selected local photo references
- App settings and preferences
This data is stored on your device.
Device permissions
The app may request access to certain device features only when needed:
- Photos — to let you select images for avatars, recipes, and frame mode.
- Calendar (optional) — to show/sync iOS Calendar events if you enable calendar integration.
You can revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Data storage and retention
- App data is stored locally on your device.
- We do not maintain a backend database containing your app content.
- You control retention by editing, resetting, or deleting app data.
- If you use export/backup features, exported files are stored in locations you choose.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your app data with third parties for advertising. Because there is no backend server for app data, your app content is not uploaded to us.
If you enable optional integrations, limited data may be exchanged directly with Apple frameworks/services as required for those features (for example, Calendar access you authorize).
Analytics and tracking
- SubFree Family Planner does not use ad-tech tracking.
- SubFree Family Planner does not require analytics for operation.
- If analytics or crash reporting tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated before rollout.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for family use under parent/guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through account registration or ad-tech profiles.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect app integrity. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and backups.
Your choices
- Revoke Photos/Calendar permissions in iOS Settings
- Reset app data from in-app settings
- Delete the app and its local data
- Export or import backups (if available in your version)
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
